Who is Hill Country Community Ministries?

Hill Country Community Ministries (HCCM) is a local food pantry here in Central Texas.

HCCM Mission Statement: “Our goal is simple: to restore dignity and empower self-sufficiency. We’re here for those impacted by job loss, poverty, aging, disability, chronic illness, or family emergencies. Some experience short-term setbacks, while others face ongoing struggles. Many are hardworking individuals, the underemployed, giving their all but unable to make ends meet. They juggle essential expenses like food, rent, utilities, transportation, clothing, and healthcare. Every year, we stand by families, providing the help they need during difficult times.”

In 2022 alone, HCCM provided food for over 30,255 families. Despite receiving 60-65% of their food provisions through donations, HCCM still needs to purchase additional food so they can continue supporting families in need.

Generous Java partners with Hill Country Community Ministries Food Pantry this year at Follow the Star.

Every December, Generous Java partners with Hill Country Ministry at “Follow The Star” held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. We will be at a booth on site handing out thousands of cups of free gourmet coffee.

We invite you to join us in December for this amazing event. Admission is free! All we ask is for your participation in supporting our local community. You can do so in two easy ways – by bringing canned goods to meet the needs of families in the Cedar Park and Leander communities or by making a financial donation.
